I’ve been taking pictures with SLRs for more than 25 years, but with only scattered esthetic success (in my judgment). Since going digital in 2003 and getting my first digital SLR in 2005, my output has shot up dramatically, and so has the number (if not ratio) of satisfying pictures.

My other locations:

http://www.flickr.com/; search People for Dennis Cheasebro
http://bugguide.net; search for D. Cheasebro

Current equipment: Canon DigitalRebel XTi, Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM (mostly), Canon EF-S 18-55 f/3.5-5.6 IS.

Beginning 4/09, started digiscoping, with Nikon ED50 A scope, 16x/24x/30x Wide DS eyepiece, Nikon adapters, Nikon P5100 compact camera.

Post-processing: RAW development in Canon Digital Photo Professional, further editing and cataloging of JPEGs in ACDSee Pro.

I don’t know if my pictures will ever be worth money to anyone, so I haven’t set up for sales for now. If you’re interested, let me know.

I enjoyed looking through your photos. Nice to see the insects, particularly the ones I don't find in England.
